The STV Central TV region will switchover to digital TV in 2010 & 2011, at which point the whole region will get Freeview. Digital UK will be writing to everyone in your region before the signal switches to digital to keep you posted on what's happening.

Here's the timetable they've given us of when your the switchover process will take place at your local TV transmitter.

October - December 2010
Torosay Transmitter
Serving the South west Higlands and Islands
The switchover process has completed.

April - June 2011
Darvel Transmitter
Serving parts of central Scotland, Argyll and Bute
The switchover process has completed.

Rosneath VP Transmitter
Serving Rosneath
The switchover process has completed.

Craigkelly Transmitter
Serving Lothian, parts of Edinburgh and part of Fife
The switchover process has completed.

Black Hill Transmitter
Serving Glasgow, central Scotland and parts of Edinburgh
The switchover process has completed.
